I don't always perform research, but when I do, I prefer it be computational. I am interested in developing novel computer simulation methods or implementing existing methods on new hardware. I spend a lot of my time developing code for clusters and for graphical processing units (GPUs).

My current research interests are listed to the right. The image below is from my PhD thesis where I computed a discrete approximation to a quasiperiodic minimal surface. No one has proved this surface exists yet.
